- Natural, outdoor lighting early or late in the day (when the sun is low) or an overcast days provides the most even light
- Have your back to the light source
- Avoid direct sunlight as it caused harsh shadows and
washes out some details - Avoid using flash as it causes "red" eye
- If photographing indoors, raise the blinds to let in as much natural light as possible
